About Boskone

What is Boskone?

Do you love science fiction and fantasy? Join us as we explore the worlds of the human imagination—all served up with a dash of whimsy!

Boskone is an annual, regional science fiction convention, running this year from February 19-21 at the Westin Waterfront, Boston, Massachusetts. We’re the oldest science fiction convention in New England, and we’re expecting over 1000 people to attend.

We feature

  • Acclaimed Program featuring over a hundred writers, artists & scientists
  • Exciting Art Show and Hucksters Room
  • Varied Con Suite, evening events and parties

Meet an impressive array of well-known figures in the field, including writers, artists, editors, publishers, musicians, scientists, gamers, bloggers, conrunners, reenactors, and fanzine editors. Join fans and pros for a weekend of panels, readings, kids' activities, demonstrations, small-group discussions, filksinging, videos, games and more! Our innovative no-boundaries layout is designed to stimulate conversation, and to support a warm, family-friendly, fannish community.

Who runs Boskone?

Boskone is a non-profit 501(c)3 put on entirely by fan volunteers (feel free to join us).
