Action Items to Support Goal #1

• determine the list of software products to be installed on all general-use workstations (already have PageMaker, PhotoShop, FrontPage, FTP client; add browsers (IE, Netscape?, Mozilla, Opera, anything else?), database software (dBase?, FoxPro, R&R), and what else?; specify versions for all of these; specify a common font list)
• determine the lists of specialized software to be installed on some systems (e.g., Peachtree on the treasury computer, IRC client on 2 systems in the meeting room, scanning software on the systems with scanners attached)
• based on this, determine the minimum configuration for existing general-use workstation systems at the clubhouse
• also determine the minimum configuration for new workstation systems at the clubhouse
• determine what specialized systems and how many general-use workstation systems are needed at the clubhouse
• review all clubhouse systems and determine whether they (a) already meet our minimum requirements, (b) can cost-effectively be upgraded to meet our minimum requirements, or (c) should be replaced
