A small group should visit during normal business hours, on a Wednesday evening, and on a Saturday and Sunday afternoons to look for conflicts with neighbors and, for a shared building, with other tenants, and should try to talk with any other tenants. It should also check how the available parking space is used at all of those times.
Generate an accurate layout of the space. Also of the passageways, elevators, etc. [So we can determine exactly how, if at all, our stuff will enter, fit, and exit.]
If there is a freight elevator we need to know how much it can hold (both dimensions and load limit). Also, is there any practical alternative way to move things if it's inoperable?
Determine and document how utilities (especially power and telephone) enter and are distributed throughout our space.
