Map of locations in "24 Views of Mt. Fuji, by Hokusai"

This map shows the approximate locations of each stop in Mari's journey through the Zelazny's story "24 Views of Mt. Fuji, by Hokusai." She followed the sequence in which the 24 images are shown in the book Hokusai's Views of Mt. Fuji (Charles E. Tuttle Co., 1965). An oval inset magnifies a smaller region. The map is based in part on a larger one contained within the reference book Hokusai and Hiroshige: Great Japanese Prints from the James A. Michener Collection, Honolulu Academy of Arts (Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, 1998). The sketch of Hokusai is based on one of his self-portraits. 24 Views Hokusai Map
