Boskone 41

Dear Sirs,

We are soliciting advertising for the Boskone 41 Program Book, which will be published in conjunction with Boskone, the regional convention to be held February 13-15, 2004 at the Sheraton Boston in Boston, MA. Boskone is the oldest SF convention in New England, with this upcoming convention being the 41st. This year's Guests of Honor are Stephen Baxter (Writer), Richard Hescox (Artist), Betsy Mitchell (Special Guest); our Featured Filkers are Bill and Brenda Sutton. In addition, this year the New England Science Fiction Association, the organization that operates Boskone has sponsored the selection of John Cramer as the Hal Clement Science Speaker.

The Program Book will be 8-1/2 x 11 (wxh) format. We prefer to receive ad copy electronically. Acceptable formats include: PDF, JPG, GIF, TIFF, and PageMaker 6.5. All Camera-ready copy will by scanned by us, and should be "black" art, a velox at 133 lines/inch, open screen, or a true halftone. Subject to availability, we will place ads on the right hand side, unless you request other placement. Contact us if you have a special request, such as four color, bleeds, etc.

Copy received by us, which does not meet the above requirements, must be specially processed. We have been informed that these charges will be in excess of $100 per hour, plus costs, if this processing is available.

Deadline for reservations is January 3, 2004, and deadline for all advertising copy is January 14, 2004. We cannot guarantee that any copy received after this date will be included in the Program Book.
