Dear Art Owner:
We would like to invite you to apply to resell art in the Boskone 43 Art Show, to be held at the Boston Sheraton Hotel in Boston, Mass. on February 17-19, 2006. Enclosed you will find information about Boskone 43, which will have one of the largest Science Fiction & Fantasy Art Shows of any East Coast regional convention.
The Boskone 43 Art Show will have an area set aside for resale in addition to the Print Shop and the main area for sales by the original artists. Because we have a limited amount of space, each reseller will be limited to at most 10 items, 20 square feet of flat art, or 10 square feet of 3-D art (whichever is less).
The fees charged by the Art Show are hanging fees. No additional charges for commission will be made. Art is sold at Boskone by written bid; a voice auction will be held Sunday for those pieces which accumulate five written bids. You do not need to be a member of Boskone 43 to enter resale items in the art show, but you must buy a membership if you wish to attend the convention.
The enclosed pages include an entry form (html version / rtf version / pdf version) and the rules for resale. Please read them carefully. Should you have any questions, you may write to us at the above address (please address your letter specifically to the Art Show) or at the electronic mail address or FAX number below.
Because we have a limited amount of space, you should send in your entry as soon as possible to ensure that you're not shut out. We hope to hear from you soon and to see you in February 2006!
