Susan MacDonald

Susan M MacDonald is a medical doctor (specialist in Palliative Medicine) and Associate Professor of Medicine and Family Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland, in Canada. She is the author of Edge of Time, the first of a SF/fantasy YA trilogy. She has spoken at conventions about YA and sexuality and the importance of YA in the SF/fantasy field. She's written a pair of essays on Medical Myths and Errors in Science Fiction and Fantasy which have appeared in The New York Review of Science Fiction.
