Peter Weston entered fandom in 1963 and for ten years published his fanzine, Speculation, four times nominated for a Hugo Award. He chaired Seacon '79, the third British world SF convention, was Special Guest at Boskone in 2000, and Fan Guest-of-Honor at Noreascon IV in 2004. His autobiographical memoir, With Stars in My Eyes was published by NESFA Press and was Hugo-nominated in 2005. Since 1983 Peter has provided the worldcon with the Hugo "rocket" trophies, and he now edits Relapse, a fanzine devoted to British SF fan-history.Peter was the Special Speaker at Boskone 37 (2000).
