Darlene Marshall writes award winning historical romance set in the 19th C., featuring pirates, privateers, smugglers and other malefactors. Sea Change was published in 2011, and The Bride and the Buccaneer won the 2010 FCRW Beacon Award for best Historical Romance. Marshall is the pen name of long-time SF fan Eve Ackerman, who's hard at work on her next novel.
