Boskone runs on volunteers. Want to learn con-running from the inside out? We could always use more help.

We have a variety of jobs at Boskone for all ages, from loading/unloading trucks, moving in/moving out, registering members, guarding doors, running errands, helping set-up/tear-down the Art show, helping with Hospitality and many others.

If you volunteer during Boskone, you could earn a free membership at the next Boskone. Boskone has a membership carryover policy. If you work enough hours between Thursday, February 11 and Sunday, February 14 (16 hours minimum - truck unloading at the hotel and set-up on Thursday night, and tear-down and truck loading on Sunday afternoon count double), you will earn a non-transferable membership to Boskone 48. If you work 8-15 hours, you can take home a Boskone 47 Volunteer T-shirt.

All volunteers are always welcome to use the volunteer/staff lounge for a quick snack or something cool or hot to drink. The Volunteer Desk is at Information, just inside the main entrance to the Galleria Ballroom.

Help Wanted for Specific Jobs

We particularly need volunteers for move-in and set-up Thursday night and for teardown and move-out on Sunday night. Report to the Volunteer table in the Galleria Ballroom anytime after 5pm on Thursday and by 3pm on Sunday. We will provide food both nights for all move-in/move-out workers.

The Office is looking for a few late-night fen to handle the Office after 11pm on Friday or Saturday. Experience running/staffing a con Office is helpful.
