The 2025 Skylark Award was given to Ian Randal Strock writer, editor, publisher, historian, lecturer, and serial entrepreneur. (and also, according to his website): teacher, trivia nut, erstwhile stock trader, serial volunteer, occasional space development advocate, and one-time tour guide.
The 2026 Skylark Award is now open for nominations. Any NESFA member may place a nomination in the Skylark Award mailbox in the clubhouse, email it to skylark@nesfa.org, or hand it to the Skylark administrator. Per the Bylaws, a nomination must be in writing and list a single person.
Nominations close on Saturday, November 1st, 2025. Email submissions will be accepted until 23:59. Submissions placed in the clubhouse mailbox or handed to the administrator will be accepted until the administrator leaves the clubhouse on November 1st.
The 2026 Skylark recipient will be announced at the Boskone 63 awards ceremony on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
